Tornado 3 Duralu
Tent with duralumin construction for up to four people with two entrances and vestibules and with two transverse top poles.
Main advantages
Used materials
Lightweight, very strong and flexible thin-walled rods made of stainless duralumin alloy, resistant to high loads in the mountains. Precise design and surface finish minimise the risk of punctures.
Lightweight and solid polyester flysheet fabric has high resistance to UV, does not age and retains its properties during prolonged exposure to sunlight and heat
PU coating
It is a thin waterproof polyurethane layer applied several times on the inside of the tropic.Depending on the number of layers of coating, the tropic is resistant to water pressure up to 4000mm (Extreme and Hiking series), 3000mm (Trekking and Family series) and 2500mm (Outdoor series). The coating retains its elasticity even at very low temperatures well below freezing.
Detailed Description
Tornado 3 Dural
A dome-shaped tent with two entrances and anterooms and two transverse top poles. The vestibules are high enough, the stiffness of the structure predetermines the tent for use even in more demanding conditions.
Rain fly is made of Polyester with a polyurethane coating, guaranteeing a water column of 4,000 mm. The seams are taped with waterproof tape.
The floor is made of Nylon with a Polyurethane coating, providing a 10,000mm water column.
The tent poles consist of Dural (7001) segments with a diameter of 9.5 mm (main rods) and 11 mm (atrial supports).

Description
The tent is double-layered and consists of an inner tent and an outer layer – rain fly. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with two entrances on its longer sides. The outer tent is octagonal, it also has two entrances, in which there are two vestibules, suitable for storing luggage, for example.
Tent concept
It is based on the principle where the tent pole structure is strung in tunnels outside the rain fly. The tent and the inner tent (which is suspended under the rain fly) are erected at the same time after threading the tent poles through the tunnels. The advantage of this method is that the inner tent can be detached from the rain fly and the rain fly can then be erected separately. This will give us a single-shell tent without a floor.
Ventilation
It is located at the top of the dome of the rain fly. The canopies of the ventilation windows are shaped so that they are not tilted by the wind, if necessary they can be closed with Velcro. This prevents leakage even during rain with strong wind.
Building a Tent
Put the tent poles of the structure through the sleeves outside the rain fly and insert the ends of the tent poles into the brass eyes on the loops of the lower edge of the rain fly. Then we fasten the buckles on the straps and on the ground inside the tent and the rain fly is set up. We fasten the inner tent to the loops on the inside of the rain fly. We anchor the erected tent with pegs and cords and fasten it with plastic clips.
