Tornado 2
Three-person tent with two entrances and vestibules and two transverse top bars.
Main advantages
Used materials
The fiberglass rods are made with a new technology that achieves lower segment weight with increased resistance to breakage.
Lightweight and solid polyester flysheet fabric has high resistance to UV, does not age and retains its properties during prolonged exposure to sunlight and heat
PU coating
It is a thin waterproof polyurethane layer applied several times on the inside of the tropic.Depending on the number of layers of coating, the tropic is resistant to water pressure up to 4000mm (Extreme and Hiking series), 3000mm (Trekking and Family series) and 2500mm (Outdoor series). The coating retains its elasticity even at very low temperatures well below freezing.
Detailed Description
Tornado 2
Tower of dome-shaped construction with two entrances and vestibules and two transverse top members. The vestibules are sufficiently high, the rigidity of the construction makes the tent suitable for use in more demanding conditions.
The tent is made of Polyester with a polyurethane coating, guaranteeing a water column of 4,000mm. The seams are taped with waterproof tape.
The underlay is made from Nylon with a Polyurethane coating, providing a 10,000mm water column.
Bars consist of laminate segments of 8.5mm (main bars) and 9.5mm (forestay supports).

Description
The tent is double-skinned and consists of an inner tent and an outer shell - tropical. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with two entrances on its longer sides. The outer tent is an octagon, it also has two entrances with two vestibules, suitable for storing luggage or cooking in case of bad weather.
Concept of the tent
It is based on the principle where a rod structure is strung in tunnels outside the tropic. The tropic and the inner tent (which is suspended under the tropic) are erected at the same time after the rods are threaded through the tunnels. The advantage of this method is that the inner tent can be detached from the canopy and the canopy can then be erected separately. This way we get a single-skin tent without a floor.
Ventilation
It is located at the top of the tropical dome. The ventilation windows are shaped so that they are not tilted by the wind and can be closed with Velcro fasteners if necessary. This prevents leakage even in rain with strong winds.
Tent construction
Push the construction rods through the tunnels on the outside of the tent and insert the ends of the rods into the brass eyelets on the loops on the bottom edge of the tent. Then we clip the buckles on the straps at the ground inside the tent and this will set up the tropic. Fasten the inner tent into the loops on the inside of the tent. After the tent is erected, anchor it with pegs and cords and fasten it with plastic clips.
