Components of small size but of great importance, because their trouble-free functionality is usually a condition for the functionality and usability of the whole product.
Elastic, very durable fabric made of specially treated Nylon fibers, which is used for particularly stressed items of clothing. Their elastic capability allows the range of movement to be increased, and the high abrasion resistance of this material (comparable to Cordura) prevents wear of these parts.
Nylon 6 is used in a wide range of products that require high strength materials. It is widely used for gears and bearings in the automotive industry. It is used in toothbrush bristles, as a thread for surgical seams and strings for acoustic and classical musical instruments, including guitars and violins. It is also used in the production of a large number of threads, ropes, fibers, nets and cords for tires.
Nylon 6 has the potential to be reused as a technical raw material for the production of the new Nylon 6. It can therefore be recycled.
Detailed Description
Year-round companion
Although no one is stopping you from wearing our other jackets all year round, you'll most likely put them away at the beginning of summer anyway because they're too thick and not very packable for summer. But that won't happen if you wear the Signal. Not only did we remove everything you won't use in the summer, like the snow collar, but we also made it out of a slightly weaker fabric. This actually creates a waterproof, packable windbreaker that you can really use all year round.

Technology as support for performance
Two-layer laminate with a Japanese ACD membrane, laser-cut, with 100% taping of all seams, keeps you dry whether you're exposed to rain, wind, or sweat during a strenuous climb.
The pockets are equipped with waterproof YKK zippers, are large enough for comfortable use with gloves on, and their location allows comfortable use even when wearing a saddlebag or backpack with a hip belt.
A sufficiently large hood under which a ski helmet can fit is also removable in two directions, both at the hem and horizontally at ear level, so as to prevent access to the cold from the outside but at the same time allowing a comfortable view and not limiting the much needed peripheral vision on the slopes.
Summer rain or thunderstorm
The two-layer laminate with a high resilience ACD membrane boasts a water column of 20,000mm and a breathability of 25,000gH2O/m2.
In simple terms, this means that if you kneel in the mud, for example, assuming the contact area is 10cm2, you can weigh 200kg and the membrane will not leak.
The two-layer laminate simply means that the membrane is compressed together with the top layer of fabric and protected on the inside by a mesh lining against mechanical damage.
