One of the best natural insulators is duck down feathers. It's what we use to fill Hill jackets with 650 Cuin. The down is mixed with small feathers in a 90/10 ratio - this is because the small feathers are flexible and help maintain the shape of the chambers and the fluffiness of the material.
Toray 20D Nylon Recycled is a tightly woven, very lightweight and breathable nylon fabric. Its manufacturer Toray is a company with a long tradition and high quality products.
The zippers of the well-known Japanese manufacturer, which is one of the best zipper manufacturer in the world. The zippers of this brand guarantee quality, long lifespan and reliability. Components of small dimensions, but of great importance, because their trouble-free functionality is often a condition of the function and usability of the whole product.
At regular intervals, thicker fibers forming a grid are woven transversely and longitudinally into the tropic material, thereby preventing further crack propagation if the fabric is torn.
DWR is a surface treatment of the material that increases its resistance to external influences such as moisture or dust.

Down - proven by generations
Some of our customers don’t want to hear about synthetic insulation. Whatever the reason, we’re not here to judge. What we want and strive for is a satisfied customer, which is why we created the Hill, an alternative to the Glimmer jacket, but with natural down insulation.
It doesn’t matter if you wear it to town, when out shopping, in the woods with your dog or climbing the peaks, all that matters is that it makes you feel great whatever the conditions.

Technology supporting performance
The outer layer is made of Nylon Featherlite RipStop DWR, which is a densely woven, very lightweight and breathable fabric made of Nylon with a durable and water repellent coating (DWR). Thanks to the tightly woven fibres, it blocks even very strong winds, while allowing your body to breathe freely.
The
RipStop coating ensures that if you rip the jacket, it will not tear further, but will stop on one of the regularly placed thicker threads.
DWR surface treatment for fabric that increases its resistance to external factors such as moisture or dust. Down is one of the best natural insulators in the world.
We fill our Hill jackets with duck down with a density of 650 CUIN. The down is mixed with small feathers in a ratio of 90/10 - this is because the small feathers are flexible and help retain the fluffiness of the material (Loft).
